The roots of Sangsangba came from me just really wanting to make a childhood friends-in-love story because I'm a sucker for that. But when I think about childhood friends I also think about the departure, the end of the world they have once shared.

The thumbnails took me about two hours and was initially pitched to my friends (@tia_gilles, @pkaykim, @atjennifernie, @admooosa, @andybesito) over the ambience of school cafe. This film would not have been made if they haven't been so encouraging that day.

Also it is the film I realized I'm a story artist. The changeability of pre-production keeps me happy and creative; the unchangeability of production makes me want to lose it. Every week in crunchtime I would go, "I'm going to start animating in different style all over again,"
