Sometimes when painting I have this crude process of slapping paint and shapes, everything starts as a rough splotch and then painting magic happens (tutorial?)
Very excited to announce "The body was never foun my graphic novel has found it's home with I'm beyond happy!! I'm gonna do something great I promise you all!!
And then, you're gonna keep doing that till it looks good to you! It can be as rendered as you want, or more sketchy depending on what you're going for. For first planes I go cleaner and for background details it's pretty loose.
Ok, I'm gonna explain my "no render, render" process, here we go! So, notice I lay out hard edges colors for highlights, shades, and I really like the "painted on" blend. I'll teach you how I do it and maybe you'll like it too!
And then you keep building up from the "macros" to the "micros" I layes out the main lights and shadows, then I go with a grainy pencil brush to detail the eye. But not much, just enough for the brain to "read eye"
