I also really wanted to showcase this woodblock print cut and got permission to do so. The woodblock print for this cut was created based on an illustration drawn by Saito-san for the storyboard, which was so beautiful that I wanted to recreate it directly on the screen #frieren 2

そしてどうしてもこの版画のカットを紹介したくて許可を頂きました このカットの版画は斎藤さんが描いた絵コンテの絵がすごく素敵で そのまま画面にしたいと思い実際に絵具を板に塗って紙に押し付けて 作った版画素材を使って描きました拡大して見てもらえたら嬉しいです #frieren #フリーレン 2

28話のなかでいくつか担当したレイアウトや背景を紹介します コンテの絵がかっこよすぎて、レイアウト描く際は楽しく描けました。途中のデンケンの回想シーンは原作で印象的なシーンだったので描けて嬉しかったですしラストカットのレイアウトも担当できて嬉しかったです。 #frieren #フリーレン 4

As the end of the year approaches, I reflect that I was fortunate to be involved with Frieren. Saito-san, Fukushi-san, and the team were very calm, gentle, and enjoyable to work with. I will continue to study more for the future. 1

グラナト伯爵領は原作の大好きなエピソードの一つで舞台の設定は熟考しました 防護結界に守れられ二重の城壁の街はどんな雰囲気だろう街を拡張出来ないので3階建ての建物も多く小さい窓に伯爵に忠誠を誓う旗が街に沢山飾られている 絵の掲載はマッドハウスの許可を得ています #frieren #フリーレン4
