I bought this book by Mitsuo Iso a few years ago that I casually go back to whenever I lack inspiration.

Some things look great enough just in lines.

What I find interesting are those black and white frames just before the explosions. Integrating drawings it's a nice touch

Of course you can't compare us in terms of quality but I did learn a lot by studying his work. Maybe in chapter 2 I'll improve some things✌️ https://t.co/y01gN3mp2Y

I love his commitment on every panel. I know for a fact that you must have great patience in order to deliver such a level of detail.

I've found a connection with his themes because Afterorder is in general a mixture of action, gore and a bit of sex (more like suggestions). Also some funny moments.

He currently has several published works such as Dr. Stone, Sun-Ken Rock and Origin. I've only checked Origin, but I'm sure the quality is the same across all books.

I personally enjoy the whole book, especially the drawings. I've learned so much just by looking at these structures, no need for text.

I spent almost a year only doing line art. I tried to replicate his technique and I did the same with other comic artists and animators. Repetition is key in learning how to draw.
