My #StormShadow variant cover to Scarlett No. 2 has been revealed (and the #gouache original has been sold)! In stores July 3. Background by legend Hector Garrido (I think).
My variant cover for Action Comics No. 1065! (For the purists out there, maybe this bottle city isn't Kandor? Or maybe Supes is just jumping and not flying? I just really wanted to draw a big Brainiac face )
No new work to show, prolly for the next month at least. (Lots to do, but all under NDA.) But here's a Wonder Woman x 3 sketch I've been picking away at.
I just finished up this piece last week for Hero Initiative. I'm not sure when it will be up for auction, but I'll be sure to post as soon as I know. The pose is based on my Classic poster for Sideshow that I never got to paint traditionally.
The alert was to let you know that this cover is out today! X-Men No. 27 with inks by my Pops! (an homage to X-Men No. 1 by Jim Lee & Scott Williams, obviously)
And I can't remember if I posted these or not, but they're in my "to post" folder. I swear I'm doing real work too, just trying get through my backlog of remarques before the end of the year.
#XMEN No. 27 is out 10/4! Inks by my Pops! Based on the amazing art by Jim Lee and Scott Williams that got me into comics (and Wizard Magazine) in middle school. The final didn't have room for the corner box, but I did it anyway :)
