when @loudandsmart gave me the first apartment thumbnail, i saw it as a railroad that got split into 2 smaller apts like i see lots in ridgewood/bushwick. i solved for the floor plan and then considered what a guy who spends lots of time in his chair wants around him
for the interior, i didnt base it off any deli in particular, but went thru some color testing before finding something i liked. its not a bodega, but a full supermarket sandwich counter so i tried to keep the space open and leaned into tile wall patterns like i see in wegmans
