I didn't expect this to resonate with so many people, thank you! I painted this a month or so ago when I was having a bad day with art and struggling to draw. So I did some photo studies to remember what a bird looks like and then sat down to paint this to loosen myself up.

Throwback to these design thoughts from when I was planning the big painting I did for Faeforge Academy a few years back. Noodling foresty buildings was heaps of fun.
