I got the go-ahead to post some of the concept art i did for the horror film Tarot (now in theatres!) These are the final designs for The Hanged Man character, along with some weirder concept sketches. He was probably my favourite to design. 4

Got a chance to check out the new Junji Ito collection from @VIZMedia, collecting all of his Souichi stories! Aside from Tomie, Souichi is one of the most memorable of Ito's characters, a nasty, mean-spirited little twerp with access to real black magic. Loved this book. 4

Checked out the first volume of Dark Gathering from Viz, and while it's not a style i generally gravitate towards, i found it charming and with its fair share of interesting / spooky imagery! You might like it if you enjoy stuff like Azumanga Daioh! 4

SPA by Eric Svetoft is a parade of surreal horrors and I loved it so much. While the story is light, the atmosphere and imagery conjured by Svetoft's scratchy line-work is the real draw here. Wonderful stuff, funny and cruel. 4
