(7/15) The inclusion of the cult and their cosmic and metaphysical beliefs allows for some inventive imagery throughout, some of which should absolutely hit home with the readers who enjoyed another Junji Ito book, Remina.

(8/15) Before long, Wataru is in the middle of a mystery, as he and a few of his associates try their best to unravel the story behind this mysterious woman, who now sports a full head of golden hair that is eerily similar to the volcanic glass that covered Kiyokami Village.

(9/15) We, the readers, are treated to a lot of theological and spiritual conceptualizing from maybe not the most reliable of narrators. This man is definitely not doing alright.

(10/15)...And things worsen for him! Here is one of Sensor's forays into iconically grotesque body horror! Always a highlight when we get one of these in a Junji Ito story.

(11/15) At one point, a mysterious woman, Kyoko Byakuya, is waylaid at a small home near a cliffside, where the story touches on such a specific gross-out fear that I'm hesitant to spoil it. Be wary if you don't like bugs, though.
