(10/15)...And things worsen for him! Here is one of Sensor's forays into iconically grotesque body horror! Always a highlight when we get one of these in a Junji Ito story.

(11/15) At one point, a mysterious woman, Kyoko Byakuya, is waylaid at a small home near a cliffside, where the story touches on such a specific gross-out fear that I'm hesitant to spoil it. Be wary if you don't like bugs, though.

(12/15) Later, the story involves one of the odder ideas in the book. Wataru starts to believe that an eerie stalker of his is watching him through traffic mirrors! The way that this idea plays into the overall cult and cosmic horror storyline is wonderful and strange.

(13/15) Things build to an unhinged crescendo involving disfigured cult leaders communing with the universe, volcanic hair being used to suck out people's life force and ancient eldritch gods. The wild and frenetic energy it brings serves as an amazing finale.

(14/15) The last story dips back in time and deals with the cosmic forces at play in the early days of Christianity. It implies that evil is an eldritch force from beyond our universe, and deals with messages from the past being delivered through expanded consciousness and...
