while they did go with a silhouetted look, it's a shame for Elisa Maria's barrier in Magoka Magica they didn't go with the actual shadow puppet look that is seen in the concept art, you can see the character designs have been exaggerated to be more readable in silhouette here 2

while i believe you should do whatever you want with your art, my biggest pet peeve is people drawing that "nose triangle thing" that they copy from their favorite artist, but put it anywhere because they dont understand what it is and it makes their drawing unreadable 1
