Awesome art day! The number 1 ranked artist in our household, undisputed GOAT, the one and only ?Georges Beuville? Feast your eyes!
Seriously, Beuville is the real deal. These are all from the same book ("Les beaux messieurs de Bois Dorรฉ"), just look at the range, the moods!
Yet he was also a brilliant cartoonist and draughtsman, on par with the likes of Ronald Searle and Quentin Blake (look at that ladybug, just look at it!).
@peterdeseve That one is brilliant! Are the ones you're referring to from the same book ("Les Aventures du Roi Pausole")?
The last bunch: three different light situations, moods and narratives. That insane light falloff on the first one. The use of hatching on the cathedral, indicating the low contrast of dusk light, or even foggy weather.
Working on the colors for our vampire #comic with @vmaderna. I think this is the direction we're going with, what do you guys think? Yay, nay? ?

Raw black and white panel from Hรฉmatite (and new twitter banner). I guess I'm a bit late for #inktober. ?
Last year wasn't great for me professional-wise, so in an attempt to be nicer to myself about that I'd like to share this comic book project I worked on. Even though it didn't pan out in the end, I'm quite proud of the results :D /Part1
Hey #PortfolioDay! I'm an illustrator from Argentina living in Spain, gouache and watercolor are my mediums of choice. I'm currently creating a vampire comic with @vmaderna. https://t.co/dxfXyRExJW | federico@fpiatti.com
Another finished page from our vampire #comic (with @vmaderna). We're currently looking for a publisher, so any recommendations or pointers are welcome ?
One of my favourite "fantasy" illustrators: ?Hermann Vogel? (this is how my ideal illustrated version of The Lord of the Rings would look like btw).
#LovelyLandscapes part 2, this time out of past and present comic projects.
