i just read and wanted to recommend The Depth of the Sky, a single volume manga about an incarcerated woman who's training to be a hairdresser - surprisingly sweet and thoughtful!
i feel like i've been very accepting of this berserk fan translation. but i have to draw the line somewhere
volume 25 is when berserk truly genuinely started to become my favorite comic of all time
