this is my probably my fave style from the official art though bec it's so stylized and graphic. mostly art from the monster cards. i see the "yoyo" signature but it's so hard to google it. 4

I also remembered when this was a thing! I kept seeing it on the news back then of albularyos removing stones with fake blood and fake pebbles and all the theatrics. I remember my lolo was one of those who got tricked. I guess it reached the USA back then. 1

Anyway really fascinated/obsessed with this style of 90s illustration characterized by wonkiness, noodle arms, small eyes that are from each other, wonky backgrounds and feels very hand drawn and imprecise. It's very nostalgic for me and approachable bec of the wonkiness. 4

Some pencil pieces. I've always been into characters in party hats. There is something so whimsical but also so culty about it. Whimsical and culty are two of my faved though lolsk. Anyway that's it so far. 2
