    i was also astonished going back and rereading everything at marineford, the climax is practically 5 straight chapters of two-page spreads, either filled with really dense paneling or amazing setpiece explosions. just an incredible feat of storytelling and scale

    being in a Kingdom Hearts Mood the last few days has inspired me to go back and read the manga adaptation. Shiro Amano is not only a really amazing artist but she does a really great job of filling the little gaps in kh's narrative to make everything feel more personable

    i also just like the lighthearted gags she sprinkles throughout. not only does she undertake the herculean task of adapting the ridiculous intersection of anime and cartoon characters to comic form but she also clearly has a lot of fun with it
