reread abara last night. i never really could get into blame! but abara's so short and so densely packed with all that biohorror and megastructure goodness that it doesn't even waste time establishing a story, the ball just starts rolling immediately and you're forced to keep up

the fights are also just crazy. not only is the scale of everything unfathomably huge, but all the action happens at unbelievable speeds, this fight in chapter 1 goes on for a few more pages but all somehow takes place in less than a second. absolute looney toons shit
