I'm working with a new clay, the black one, and it's lovely. Let's hope it behaves in the kiln. Bowls are this week's theme. One was cracked for some reason - this tends to happen rarely now - so it's going straight to the recycling bucket.

Some potters will smash such pieces, but I don't get it. I don't like to smash stuff or break things. Plus it's perfectly usable so, it's more an issue of branding and whether I want imperfect pieces from me out there.
