The panel that made me buy the issue! Everett has a strong sense of how much space he has to work with and what moments to spend it on. Entering this cave marks a shift in the story from adventure/mystery to creature feature/sci-fi horror, and this big, lonely panel signals that.
Ladies, gentlemen, and honored guests, I give your our villain for the evening: TORG, THE ABOMINABLE SNOW-KING - and, look, he's not great, is he? It's mainly his coloring. Silvery-white and he might be more impressive (But the dialogue is pretty wonderful here, which helps)
One of the more impressive pages from a very impressive fight scene - it's another great instance of simple elements in the weird configuration, and it's very fitting that the crew, potentially just props in another story, end up rallying, earning Namor's respect in the process
First of all, fantastic, and second of all, get a load of that HAND! For as much as I ragged on Torg's design when we first saw him, he ends up being weirdly dynamic and expressive (he's also twice as big all of a sudden, but shush)
