Everything I can remember about Blue Beetle III without looking it up (details)
When I first read Jeff Smith's (excellent) SHAZAM! THE MONSTER SOCIETY OF EVIL I thought Dr Sivana being attached to the US Cabinet was a bit of a stretch, so you can imagine my surprise when, not ten years later:
There's that famous story where the JSA's girlfriends all team up, but has there ever been a story with the weird civilian sidekicks (Woozy Winks, Percival Popp, Doiby Dickles, etc)?
This series also features a nice amount of a core Batman element far too many writers forget: solving problems with ropes
I've talked about this elsewhere, but for my money, Batman's escape from Hugo Strange's lair in BATMAN AND THE MONSTER MEN #4 is among the best sequences of the character's history
