Whatever brought you here, I'm glad you popped by!I'll bookend this thread (for now) w a couple of pieces of personal work! You can keep tabs on me and my coming soon...)
ok I'm done being self indulgent but this was fun I am lowkey proud of not letting myself get too pigeonholed, and really really I enjoy all the faces and the styles!
In the spirit of the blessed day, here are some concepts I did early on for the Cheerlings for Netflix's Scrooge movie! My idea was to base them on a variety of Christmas ornaments, which I think I may come back to in a different form some day later
Loads of good suggestions! Some I may get to later, but I saw more than one for Freya Crescent from FF9 and I absolutely had to (reposting because I could NOT abide the typo in the name)
The ghost of Christmas Present! He brings such warmth to the story, and working on his design was a pleasure- I admit I didn't quite understand where we were headed when he started to lean towards tinsel-inspired interdimensional traveler, but the result on screen was lots of fun
Sunday evening! Time for Marleyposting.Jacob Marley was one of my favorite characters to design for the Scrooge musical- I got to throw a lot of my favorite old man shapes at him Seeing both his human and ghost forms translate so beautifully to the screen was a thrill!
Today BOTH the Scrooge movie and the Wingfeather Saga season 1 debut, and I want to tweet about both of them so much so I'm just gonna be a mess! Such a blessing over the last several years to design characters for two stories I love so much.
