Joshua Green lives in Portland and is one of two Stomped collaborators I've hung out with in person (the other being Matt Strackbein). He drew a story for issue 3 and I'm sure we'll find another project to collaborate on in the future.
André Díaz was the first to take a huge leap of faith on this project, back in 2019 when I was still working 60+ hours a week as a retail manager and had almost no published work. I knew this comic would work when he started sending me creature designs.

What do you call these bugs? They seem to be able to get inside buildings all the time and I have no idea how? They are about as long as a US quarter coin.
But the heart of the larger STOMPED narrative is the character Kim Corgan, the world's only superhero. The planned follow up graphic novel is inspired by superhero comics & cartoons, along with a few less obvious sources of inspiration.
Just realized I could have either given him long studs on his shoulder pads and boots like naval mines and/or given him a square pattern like a hand grenade and he'd be so much cooler.
