improv design!i imagined that they wait by a cursed road going through the woods, ready to guide the souls from the frequent accidents there. once lead to a peaceful spot, the souls take root and become trees, adding to the forest.

design done! a fae king responsible for waking all the sleeping wildlife each year. he does so by throwing a day-long ball in a large meadow, where he'll dance and drink with the animals with such energy that the snow melts.
