blue period is such a powerful manga and has hit me really hard in so many ways. i went through a lot of the same issues yaguchi went through in college. i really stopped loving art at one point and finding the "fun" in it again was super important to my development.
okay i gotta talk about shiori somehow so lets talk about how incredibly it conveys the act of playing instruments. how wonderfully kazuya shows the motion of the guitar pick or the piano being tapped away at vs it being slammed into. god its so good. GOD ITS SO GOOD!!!
this is my favorite page of chainsaw man by a SIGNIFIGANT margin and while i think you can appreciate the art and framing and maybe even get a feel for the tone you really cant know how INSANE this moment is without context.

a little metroid comic i made. @/gigideegee made an incredible metroid comic and it lit a fire in me to make my own so i did. the little doodle in zero mission always gets me. i like how we always get hints as to how good a person samus is and this is one of my faves.

speaking of commissions i recently did this comic commission for @WambamDam. ive been holding onto it cause i wasnt sure how to introduce comic commissions as a possible option? would people be interested in comic commissions? prices would like... vary like crazy (diamond).
late night sonic. ive actually always been a casual sonic fan at best and he was not the art inspiration to me that he was to so many people i know. but ive always wanted to figure out my own way to draw him and i think ive finally got it.
im super proud of how this fight between aster and phoebe has been going. these last few pages especially. i feel like ive already come a long way since the comic started. if you havent checked out my webcomic yet maybe this will convince you!
