Achievement unlocked - pilgrimage to Otomo's `Procession Spin' bas-relief sculpture at Ginza station ( near exit B1 of Hibiya line ). Took like a hundred pictures from every hoomanly possible angle. Not even kidding

Tekkon Kinkreet director Michael Arias was kind enough to meet me for a coffee in Kichijoji and shared some work in progress pictures of his upcoming `Sunny' stop-motion animation film based on Taiyo Matsumoto's manga. It looks AMAZING. Fans are going to go wild.

Just visited the Sorayama Hajime exhibition in Tokyo and I'm positively stunned by just how massive some of his paintings are. I always assumed they were like desktop sized.

The Cherry blossoms in Vancouver are way past their full bloom by now, but they still make for a pretty nice picture when framed with a clear blue sky.

Literally took like a thousand pictures inside the Shirow Masamune / Ghost In The Shell genga art exhibition, not even joking. Grateful to the organizers for allowing pictures of his original work.

Shirow Masamune really cracked the code for appealing mecha design during the early 90s, a perfect combination of sexiness and cool form factor. All these collected in imho his best ever art book, Intron Depot (1992) -
