Junichiro notes. Because he was an early character I had to struggle keeping his design working with the style but once I got more comfortable, his look got more consistent. I really hate some of the early Junichiro drawings and I'm very happy I finally figured him out
Don't have a ton for Touma but he was def one of my favorite characters. Very curious, a little sheltered, but very kind. And he wears a cute sweater so he's a man after my own heart
Apparently I have more memes made about Kaito for my editors than I do actual concept art saved on my desktop
Spoilers if you haven't yet read my comic Yuna & Kawachan. Mori notes! I think there were more over the years but some failed attempts at figuring out Mori may have been lost.
Moving on from main characters, here's some side char concepts! Yuna's brother and friends were originally important parts of seeing who Yuna is/was as a person and most flashbacks changed between versions. The "date scene" was one of the last Canvas scenes I was working on
The joke might be dead at this point but here's Tears of the Kingdom: Wiggle to Detach (colorized)
MILD SPOILERS for the very beginning of Tears of the Kingdom. I've been cracking myself up thinking about Link's new arm and how Rauru attached it
I finally watched Good Omens and yeah okay Crowley and Aziraphale are pretty fun
Visual representation that art and design can change over time. When I started Yuna & Kawachan, I tried to get my idea out quickly but the design has refined over the years. Junichiro and Kawachan are in a tie for best glow up: thank god I learned to draw them eventually
Dusty the silent cat witch
All the cool kids are doing it also go read Yuna & Kawachan :3c
Hey wanna see the steps I use to make my comic? I've done a lot to figure a balance of simplicity and challenge in the style used in Yuna & Kawachan. Every comic/production will differ in its approach. Also some Episode 37 panel previews! (Spoilers if you're not up to Ep35)
