We've been working on this project for 5+ months. Before we launched this campaign, countless hours of preproduction and research went into developing the structure and mythology of the story. The result is a world of possibilities unhindered established canon.
That doesn't mean we just made shit up, either. The Kayfable Chronicles is historical fiction based on real-life heroes, many of which had their contributions to the pro wrestling sport obscured or left out.
Having a story is one thing, but the presentation is another. I've made 8 comic books alone, and that experience is used in my new book. So we're combining prose and panels in a genre-defining marriage that readers of both comics and novels will enjoy.

My only political comic before the 2016 election. A FB friend got really angry with me, said he felt like he was being stereotyped, even though this comic was fictional commentary and had nothing to do with him. In hindsight, this was very accurate.
