From here on it was just working on it like any image. Lineart - base colors - light and shadow - rendering and effects. I wanted to make her feel really powerful so I really focused the lighting on her face.
The art director chose this thumbnail to move forward with! Here you can see how some things did change to the final version, but the general idea was always there.

I was fortunate enough to design the Boss character for Valorant's Shattered cinematic! We explored a bunch of variations before deciding on the final design. I'll put the final film in the thread :)#valorant
