(It doesn't always work) but you can work those out on a seperate paper as sketches like that.. 
Small ones like that help a lot

And the plot is very interesting with not so generic characters.
Just in the beginning ppl find it between confusing and generic? Idk why. But their opinion usually changes quite quickly
