This week's Donald Duck magazine just came in the mail and has the comic in it that I drew a while back! I also dig this take on Pieter Brueghel the Younger. Not sure who drew and colored it.
Two Radio2 DJs started a petition to bring back @LoekideLeeuwNL on Dutch TV! 10.000 should be a piece of cake, right? Please share! https://t.co/ebUb969T1I I should really do a proper drawing of him, but here's a drawing of old-school Loeki from back in 2009.
From script to finish. Disney comics are usually 'storyboarded' by the writer. Some draw better than others... As the artist you can take liberties from how the scenes are framed. These drawings by Gaute Moe were already very fun and expressive so I followed them pretty closely.
Who doesn't love little burros (and bilbies) Character in the 2nd image is Burrito from the Three Caballeros.
Hi twitter! Here again for #visiblewomen, I'm Henrieke and I draw for a living; among other things for zoos, Woezel & Pip, Disney Comics and Tom Poes. I love ALL the animals, traditional inks, specific cartoon birds, tmbg, lemurs, old cartoons, new cartoons, & many other things!
My #toonjune stuff from 5 (?!!!) years ago, a century of comic and cartoon characters!
Here's my #artvsartist! (#artistvsart?) I love to draw CRITTERS.
Finally, a new ref sheet for Kiki for the fist time in a decade! Big thanks to everyone who has drawn her in the past 18 years ♥️
That's quite enough inking for today
Some of this morning's warm up sketches.
I don't currently have an official portfolio but here are some pictures anyway! I love love love to draw animals and cartoons and I'm so happy to make comics, kids books and concept art for a living. I occasionally like to make puppets, costumes and fan art too! #PortfolioDay
It's exactly 77 years ago today that José Carioca's animation debut 'Saludos Amigos' came out, I just had to make a sketch! (I hope I spelled the Portuguese correctly!)
People keep sharing those relatable mirrored drawing pictures like it's a 'digital artist only' thing, but I learned it from this Disney comic book in 1996 (and I keep a pocket mirror in my pencil case)
