Just noticed some scribbles on the back of one page... Fantastic Mim!
Digging through files... a while ago I got to do clean up/inks on a short Tom Poes comic with roughs drawn by Daan Jippes. He gave some redlines too and suggested where to put the halftones. I wish I could always get help like this! (But the timing was BAD and I worked overnight)
I'm so grateful I can manage looser sketches now, I find legs very hard to draw and when I did this comic 4 years ago I redrew BF's legs to death and had way more trouble with the proportions. (Though then on a recent comic I redrew one face 10+ times.. Some days just don't work)
I drew these like 8 years ago when I was REALLY pissed off sometime and they have more expressive poses than anything else I drew around that time, haha (such a great comic in the RT, btw!) https://t.co/8hFSYiBAs8
Also at the booth Mau asked me what to sketch for me and I asked for 'something violent' and I got THIS absolute treasure
My #toonjune stuff from 5 (?!!!) years ago, a century of comic and cartoon characters!
Here's my #artvsartist! (#artistvsart?) I love to draw CRITTERS.
Finally, a new ref sheet for Kiki for the fist time in a decade! Big thanks to everyone who has drawn her in the past 18 years ♥️
That's quite enough inking for today
Some of this morning's warm up sketches.
I don't currently have an official portfolio but here are some pictures anyway! I love love love to draw animals and cartoons and I'm so happy to make comics, kids books and concept art for a living. I occasionally like to make puppets, costumes and fan art too! #PortfolioDay
It's exactly 77 years ago today that José Carioca's animation debut 'Saludos Amigos' came out, I just had to make a sketch! (I hope I spelled the Portuguese correctly!)
People keep sharing those relatable mirrored drawing pictures like it's a 'digital artist only' thing, but I learned it from this Disney comic book in 1996 (and I keep a pocket mirror in my pencil case)
