I decided I want to scan my ballpoint sketches from the last months/years to make a little sketchbook to sell. Thank goodness for being able to remove the blue lines from the black pen lines.. but then stupid me also drew with blue pen on blue lines. Will find a way!
Busy picking out and backing up all the art in my messy camera roll of four years. Here's the one time I drew a comic with HUMANS in it. Story by Frans Hasselaar, original (somewhat more realistic) character design by Maarten Gerritsen and I got Frits Jonker to hand-letter it.
Came across these screenshots from when they filmed a tv item in my room a few years ago and I'm glad Mickey walking through a window and Mickey pointing a gun at Donald made it in
@Nambroth Oh I love almost nothing more than to draw birds! But my `birds' are usually more of the `I guess it's a bird because its last name is Duck' variety
My #toonjune stuff from 5 (?!!!) years ago, a century of comic and cartoon characters!
Here's my #artvsartist! (#artistvsart?) I love to draw CRITTERS.
Finally, a new ref sheet for Kiki for the fist time in a decade! Big thanks to everyone who has drawn her in the past 18 years ♥️
That's quite enough inking for today
Some of this morning's warm up sketches.
I don't currently have an official portfolio but here are some pictures anyway! I love love love to draw animals and cartoons and I'm so happy to make comics, kids books and concept art for a living. I occasionally like to make puppets, costumes and fan art too! #PortfolioDay
It's exactly 77 years ago today that José Carioca's animation debut 'Saludos Amigos' came out, I just had to make a sketch! (I hope I spelled the Portuguese correctly!)
People keep sharing those relatable mirrored drawing pictures like it's a 'digital artist only' thing, but I learned it from this Disney comic book in 1996 (and I keep a pocket mirror in my pencil case)
