I've made my recent big cat sketches into a pattern and single design, and made them available in my webshop on Redbubble: https://t.co/Qjr4F4GkoL

FB (sigh) reminded me of this #ToonJune century of cartoon characters from three years ago. Now it's the 2020s, what would your pick be? I'd draw Steve from @Worthikids Bigtop Burger but I couldn't do the style any justice. A prefect modern cartoon imo, fully Patreon funded!

I rarely share newspaper articles because I feel awkward about them but I kind of regret not picking up a copy of Trouw with this article on Tom Poes a while ago, because of the people I'm sandwiched in between! (Paul Verhoeven talks about Tom Poes being an influence on Robocop)

Here's a few more even rougher Lolas from two months ago that I don't think I posted back then (was feeling it a bit more when I did the other ones the night before)

Character inks on paper vs. final print for the Dutch Little Golden Book "Tom Poes en de Blaasgeest". All the beautiful backgrounds and colors were done on an ipad by Tim Artz. The original comic this book is an adaptation of was first published in 1953, long before Stay Puft..

My #toonjune stuff from 5 (?!!!) years ago, a century of comic and cartoon characters!

Here's my #artvsartist! (#artistvsart?) I love to draw CRITTERS.

Finally, a new ref sheet for Kiki for the fist time in a decade! Big thanks to everyone who has drawn her in the past 18 years ♥️

That's quite enough inking for today

Some of this morning's warm up sketches.

I don't currently have an official portfolio but here are some pictures anyway! I love love love to draw animals and cartoons and I'm so happy to make comics, kids books and concept art for a living. I occasionally like to make puppets, costumes and fan art too! #PortfolioDay

It's exactly 77 years ago today that José Carioca's animation debut 'Saludos Amigos' came out, I just had to make a sketch! (I hope I spelled the Portuguese correctly!)

People keep sharing those relatable mirrored drawing pictures like it's a 'digital artist only' thing, but I learned it from this Disney comic book in 1996 (and I keep a pocket mirror in my pencil case)

Who doesn't love little burros (and bilbies) Character in the 2nd image is Burrito from the Three Caballeros.

Got these amazing drawings from one of my favorite artists for one of my favorite movies ❤️❤️❤️

I got better at inking…

Ah, how lovely is the native language
