Early concept for the Ruin Runner and Profiteer, the brief initially wanted a duo of a young and an older Treasure hunter working together. So I tried to have some cocky youngsters on one side and experienced hunters on the other.

The sketches! The children were scrapped, I think they were a bit too young ! I tried to go for "renaissance sculptors/artists" feel with the costumes and played around with diamond shapes as if it was there symbol (also it's sturdy and refined like the work they do!)
