I haven't sketched for ages, so I opened a canvas and doodled whatever came up in my brain. and since I started reading "the unspoken name" by A K Larkwood in which there's a description of "maze ships", I guess it all makes sense.
2017 iPad sketches in #procreate I definitely need to do more of these. oh wait ... what's this ... a new iPad! 👍
Many spaceships, more #procreate goodness. I think I finally settled on a great pencil brush. did quite some tests on this sheet with the Narinder and procreate pencil brushes. But my favorite one is the HB pencil for final details and extra subtleties.
Another sheet of crowded spaceships in @Procreate. I tried to escape out of my own design habits for each new one. Easier sand than done. I also overuse the auto ellipsis feature, because it's such a joy to use.
Vangelis is gone. I've never admired an artist as much. He played music with his soul. Kept these cds through all these years. At one point i had them all, close to everything he's published. His influence is everywhere. A cornerstone of scifi. Reposes en paix
spent an hour updating my Artstation, so I'm going to add a few here too.

Lots of (valuable) talks but where's the art? so to balance things before new year knocks, here's line stuff from 2022.

ballpoint pen sketches done this week on ... real paper. it's definitely more of a challenge, but loving it.
Real pen and real paper for these.
