I'm actually going through my desktop and I'm just baffled at how completely my art style has changed over the past few years- compare the earliest Star drawing I could find versus more recent!
@cwgl418 My quick and dirty version: 30s dresses are a bit more long and flowing, emphasizing a longer figure. 40s are a bit shorter with more buttons and large lapels. 50s makes me think of tea dresses and big skirts, and 60s is more of a boxy and androgynous look with bold colors!
@cwgl418 Yeah, depending on how early or late you are in the decade the styles can blend together. There are definitely some subtle things to help you tell the difference though!
My last day on Star was last week- will love and miss all of my wonderful crew! Onto new adventures!!

star ended 3 years ago already huh? i still think about my experience on the show all the time, it changed my life so much. i've always wanted to do a mini epilogue comic (non canon, just some of my thoughts) but working on a movie is surprisingly busy work lol. maybe some day.
