i think his name is keawe. hes 14 and the mark on his face is a burn from a close encounter with a guardian; thats part of the reason he first started hanging around eji, because he has facial scarring from frostbite and the cut down his mouth

tbh my favorite part of dungeon meshi is that this panel, izutsumi is clearly referencing this crying cat meme, which came from a picture of my cat inkky. :) inkky passed away in 2020 but tbh i feel a special attachment to izutsumi because of this one panel, like...thats my girl

i love when kui draws laios completely neutral and he has this air of quiet misery and apathy to him. i haven't noticed that in the anime yet. he exudes this aura of boredom and resentment sometimes, the way she draws him.
