(big dungeon meshi spoilers, dont unblur if you haven't read the manga) i think its so funny people watching ep 1 and comparing laios to a dog thats eating something their owner doesnt want them to eat because they have no idea how right they are. thats his vibe to the very end

tbh my favorite part of dungeon meshi is that this panel, izutsumi is clearly referencing this crying cat meme, which came from a picture of my cat inkky. :) inkky passed away in 2020 but tbh i feel a special attachment to izutsumi because of this one panel, like...thats my girl

i love when kui draws laios completely neutral and he has this air of quiet misery and apathy to him. i haven't noticed that in the anime yet. he exudes this aura of boredom and resentment sometimes, the way she draws him.
