i remember reading this panel for the first time and suddenly feeling a sense of dread, like i was being very heavily foreshadowed about something very serious and terrifying, in a comedic way
this made some folks sad so i wanna clarify that this isn't an angst au!!! laios would love being a werewolf and his personality does return to normal

tbh my favorite part of dungeon meshi is that this panel, izutsumi is clearly referencing this crying cat meme, which came from a picture of my cat inkky. :) inkky passed away in 2020 but tbh i feel a special attachment to izutsumi because of this one panel, like...thats my girl

i love when kui draws laios completely neutral and he has this air of quiet misery and apathy to him. i haven't noticed that in the anime yet. he exudes this aura of boredom and resentment sometimes, the way she draws him.
