Have been very withdrawn lately. Not entirely a positive or negative thing, but I realize that folks might worry, so: I'm alive and around, just haven't managed to make much. Recently found a draw-with-your-pals app thingy, which has been a joy. So 'ere's a doodle! 1

Here are a few other pieces in the same vein as my last retweet (8x10, watercolor pencil). Once I've wrestled with my current batch of projects I'm curious about offering comms in this style, as they're just a joy to compose and mark-make on. 2

Hah, found some of the concept sketches. iirc I was crunched for time & simplified to focus on characters only. If I were to revisit it now, I'd go with the first concept for sure, make a detail shot to focus on Mary's enthusiasm for her friends (which final img lacks) 1
