"water break" comp (with placeholder colors ?) alongside the very first tiny initial ballpoint scribble. Gotta say, playing with/fixing compositional hierarchy, pose weight, etc is one of my favorite things to do. Now, on to more comps and pencils!
Some sketches from the zoo yesterday, zoomed in for dramatic effect- parma wallaby, bat-eared fox, and rhinoceros hornbill (very gestural because they! hop!!)
Throwback to #inktober a few years ago before we kick off this year's tomorrow! These were all Pentel brush pen on Fabriano EcoQua paper, if I remember correctly (horrid binding but great paper for the price)
Digging around for some #sketchvsfinal of my own and, well...this one made me laugh most, so here ya go:
More leopard geckos from the other day- just standing around this time, maybe offering you mealworm pupae
Took a dive into sketchbook scans for this round of #AnimalArtistsUnite !
-deposits some little guys onto your twitter feed-
And day 9, Moon Bear Artist. #inktober
Ohhh man, what a good tag, going to browse it thoroughly over coffee tomorrow morning! #AnimalArtistsUnite
