#ECCC starts tomorrow and I'm pumped! I'll be sharing some of the stuff I brought with me here, but don't worry if you can't make it -- everything is also available online!
I can finally share this one! This is my cover variant for The Vampire Slayer 5! I wanted to draw Buffy, Faith, and Willow as cool older ladies, enjoying mimosas while the world burns around them. You know, just girly things.

Some of you guessed correctly -- I'm working on an oracle deck! And I am so excited to finally be able to share the first card with you. Ame-no-Uzume is a Shinto deity of the dawn, mirth, and revelry. Here, she's performing a lewd dance to lure Amaterasu from her hiding place.
These lovers may present as male and female, but that doesn't mean they're not queer. It's important to remember that you can't always tell if someone is queer just by looking; there is space in the community for all of us.
These Fairy Friends were inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's story Thumbelina! Of course, I had to put my own spin on it -- I think Andersen would approve of my androgynous fairy prince.
Inbetween 1, an older piece exploring gender and gender expression. There are so many little things we do to make our bodies feel like home. What's your favorite?
"Sweet mother, I cannot weave –slender Aphrodite has overcome me with longing for a girl."
- Sappho
I like to think this Fairy Friend's spider tattoo artist knows how she feels. Haven't we all been overcome with longing?
