One of my favorite parts of working on #onyxequinox, was being able to design the gods. This was, of course, with the help from the codices and reliefs. There are different iterations but the iconography is mostly the same. Quetzalcoatl, Mictecacihuatl and Tezcatlipoca in order. 3

Izel has been through a couple of redesigns for college assignments or personal growth. I believe these are from back in 2009- 2010 when I needed material for the comic. The ones in gray BG are from 2014. 4

¡No se por que escribi el ultipo post en ingles, jajaja! ¡Lo mismo para Nelli! En ese entonces su nombre era Zeia. Todos estos son para mi portafolio personal en 2014. Estaba experimentando con diferentes estilos. Pero nunca pensé en estos como el estilo oficial o final. 4

¡Este fue uno de los diseños que hice en 2011 para un cómic de 6 páginas que muestra a Izel luchando contra el tecelotl del episodio 10! Al final, convertí esto en la animática oficial que incluiría en el 'pitch bible' en el 2018. 3

Olvidé mencionar que esto era una tarea de 4 paneles por cómic que se suponía que debíamos hacer como una tarea semanal. ¡Todos estos se hicieron de forma tradicional y con pluma fuente y tinta china! Los tonos tambien fueron aplicados de manera tradicional. Mi primera clase~ 3

My beloved @banannerbread is making an amazing music animatic for our MASKS campaign opening. She used some of my art for the Bg. It represents my character's story coming into AKA plus a couple easter eggs from later in the `season'. Can't wait for you all to see it! 1
