Instead, I suggest breaking up your single panel into multiple, like this! this way, we spend a lot more visual time on the establishing shot, and we also get to see more details from it. it makes us feel more "in the scene" this way. 2

What most people do, and what is admittedly easier, is to just put the panels on top of eachother, like this. it works, but the establishing shot loses a lot of impact this way. We can barely see it, because the format doesn't let us take up horizontal space the same way! 2
