I was excited to have a run at Goth Dot when I heard I was doing this segment. Her wilted flower in the final is perfect. Also, I don't know if this made it in (I no longer have Hulu, lol) but I remembered being proud of this "Letterman jacket" I drew!4

Hope everyone liked the premiere of Season 2 - "The Patrick Show Cashes In!" This one was a huge undertaking and thanks in no small part to Zoe Moss and Tim Prendergast who really took it to the finish line while I was out for some of the time on this. 4

My print will be exhibited at the Peoples' Summit 2022 from June 8-10th in Los Angeles! It will be 3 days of art, speakers, and mobilization to uplift the voices of working people, and counter the anti-worker international summit for heads of state/CEOs. You should go! 2

The note "S/A" stands for "Same As," which means it's the same as the previous panel or shot. When it's written on characters or BGs, it's a nice shorthand to let people know the characters aren't moving from panel to panel without having to copy/paste or re-draw them. 1

The blue notes on my thumbs help me to figure out which shot setups I'll be able to re-use. When yr boarding on a tight deadline like in TV, re-using shots is lifesaving both for you and the BG folks later. Here's 3 shots I was able to re-purpose with different FG/BG elements. 3

Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart was nominated for another Annie Award! This time, it's directing for our unbeatable director @mikejmoloney, and it was a LOT of direction to make all of the gags myself and @Angelo_Hat put in really come together! One of my fave episodes to write! 2

For #Feboardary I'm going through my boarding process in detail - and it usually starts with thumbs that look like this! I keep them super-tiny and super illegible so I never get "married" to any one shot composition. My first ideas aren't always best, so I do a lot of alts! 2

Premiering on Cartoon Network tomorrow at 6pm, it's MAO MAO'S BIKE ADVENTURE! This was the very first board I did on Mao Mao with @grifkimmins and suffice to say it was a real hurdle learning to fit all the stuff we wanted to write into just 11 minutes. Hope you like!! 1
