Honestly I should just make a twitter account to dump out of context (Disney) comic pictures, I already spam some friends with them anyway. I'm always compelled to share but don't want to swamp this account. Just so much excellent art out there, like Bernado, whose work I adore! 4

Here's a #StartToFinish on a Disney comic page. Script by Frank Jonker, who always makes very detailed drawings! Rough layout by me on the ipad, and then the inks on paper with a brush and ink. And finally the result in the magazine, colored and lettered by someone else. 4

Came across this on the Dutch Duck website. It was my first published drawing, spring 2007. I had SUCH a hard time drawing and especially inking it, it's inked on A3 (12x16 inch) and has pieces of paper glued on it... It gets easier as you keep practicing (but it's still hard)! 1

To be 100% clear, this is a 15 year old piece of merchandise. It's based on the classic Donald model sheet by Don Towsley and sculpted by Bo Tsai, under Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily's direction. It can be found 2nd hand as '70th anniversary big fig'. I've wanted one for 12 years! 1

@3cmit Dang this duck drawing I made in 2006 where I was proud of the joke has the exact same gag (I never saw this Barks page until now... or maybe I did and it was my subconscious!) I've been trying to come up with unused Disney cover gags for years now but it seems impossible, haha 1

Nice surprise in the mail, book + DVD about the Dutch Toonder Studios full of animated commercials and shorts from 1941-1992, most of which I've never seen. MTVC membership is 20 per year and outside of the magazine you get stuff like this for free, I don't know how they do it! 4
