also not sure if this is relevant, but the parallels between this composition of armin/shifters and that of ymir and the nine titans strikes a chord for me. when this illustration is used within the ED, we see ymir's image slashed - could this tell the end of the titans powers? 3

now im going to talk about an unresolved character arc we have yet to find closure on: connie's mother. you'd think it would be a kindness to put her out of her misery, trapped like that, but if the titan powers ARE dissolved, will this mean connie will get his happy ending? 1
