Now that I'm done with my Rear Window re-creation, I came across some totally new pictures I've never seen of the cast and the set. I wish I had them sooner...

Reading again "刑務所の中" ("Doing Time") by Kazuichi Hanawa. It's a manga about the 3 years he spent in prison. Very interesting to read how different Japanese prisons are compared to the usual American prisons we see in movies. Also his drawing style is definitely unique.

@budvyt_is Thank you! I found those maps on the net but not sure if they are official. I ended up taking many, many screenshots from the movie and trying to understand how everything was composed in the set. A lot of trial and errors at first.

@ddoniolvalcroze Almost the same than you: 1 - Harakiri 2 - Samurai Rebellion 3 - The Twilight Samurai aka Tasogare Seibei with one of my favorite actors Hiroyuki Sanada

I'm trying out the newly released Quake 2 remaster, and one of the additions is a concept art section where they show the most rudimentary drawings for the purpose of preservation. I wish more remasters would think of adding this kind of bonus.

I visited the SFMOMA and discovered the works of Bernd and Hilla Becher. It's like a « where have you been all my life? » moment.

I'm not really into Techno, but recently I discovered the album Against a Dark Background by Spektre and I've been listening to it on repeat. Great to listen to while working or just wandering around the city.

This is still one of my all time favorite movie posters.

Production art from Ghost in the Shell and Innocence, on display at the GITS exhibition in Tokyo.
