Now that I'm done with my Rear Window re-creation, I came across some totally new pictures I've never seen of the cast and the set. I wish I had them sooner...
Reading again "刑務所の中" ("Doing Time") by Kazuichi Hanawa. It's a manga about the 3 years he spent in prison. Very interesting to read how different Japanese prisons are compared to the usual American prisons we see in movies. Also his drawing style is definitely unique.
@budvyt_is Thank you! I found those maps on the net but not sure if they are official. I ended up taking many, many screenshots from the movie and trying to understand how everything was composed in the set. A lot of trial and errors at first.
