This week there's another comic by me on the back of the Duck magazine, but most weeks this year they're drawn by Tim Artz like the one seen here. And it's a blessing for everyone, because Tim's Disney comics are REALLY REALLY FUN. 1

I've been experiencing side effects from new medication that are so bad that drawing/working has been nearly impossible the past two weeks. I hope to find some solution that works. Either way, drawing ducks still makes me really happy. 2

Here he is inked. As tall as my (small) thumb is wide, 2cm. Idk why I do that to myself but I take longer when it's larger, probably because I'm more needlessly precious about the lines then. 1

I love how you can use silhouettes or frames without backgrounds to make the balance of a page pleasing as a whole. They're placed very deliberately, especially with the types of comics where the artist has no influence on how the comic gets colored. (art by Barks and Bernado) 3

It's always such a cool experience in a museum to see originals up close that you've stared at reproductions of your whole life, and I don't think I've ever had it as much as here. It was also funny that everyone looking at the art was quiet, except you'd hear constant chuckling 4

Me after staring at Uderzo art for 4 hours I might post more pictures later, maybe over on IG... Anyway the exhibition apparently got extended by a month, so go see it if you can at all, it was worth my train tickets. At musée Maillol in Paris 1
