Dawn vigil over the afflicted. A little progress and thinking how greebles make much more sense when maintenance and transport are accounted for. Also wondering about dry tape for mounting ERA blocks or other consumables
Stove hinge, but if you added a mag, a length of pipe and pine furniture it could pass for some sort of Volkssturmgewehr prototype. The world is full of interesting shapes
Working the spacecraft sketch up into a full scene. I need to update my website and ArtStation with newer work with an eye towards spring and new gigs. Going to have same UE5 stuff in there but don't want to skimp on fundamentals
Stole a few minutes to make a little progress. Probably not worth it to take much further without detailing the model somewhat. Might not be a horrible one to make a finished asset out of for my own projects this winter
A little progress. You get the idea. Control surfaces and bypass scoops on the engines give opportunities to make hovering idle animations more interesting (as well as smoke and mirrors to use larger cards when doing particle animations )
Couldn't sleep so I'm running a little experiment. Simpler models earlier and using Redshift for shake and bake lighting and a shader to round the corners prior to a draw over
There's atmosphere and inspiration, then there's what to give the modelers so they don't hate you. Working where a lot of the modeling was outsourced was a big part of why I got into 3D to avoid communication and quality issues
More crates from a cancelled project and some weapon developmental sketches from GALAHAD 3093. A good argument for integrating 3D into the concept process to show props as experiences rather than inert objects. Not needed but it reduces communication overhead
